Fees and administration

All Magistrate's Court matters, including both District and Regional divisions, are billed according to Scale D (Defended Matters), regardless of the claim's quantum.
Expenses, such as copies and disbursements, are charged as per the court tariff or at actual cost.
We charge a once-off taking of instructions & file opening fee of R500.00 for both District and Regional Court matters per matter. -
We normally issue invoices at the end of the month and account to our various instructing attorneys.

30-Day Terms: Payment is due within 30 days of receipt of our invoice.
Non-Contingent: Your obligation to pay is not contingent on you receiving payment from your client. It is the instructing firm's responsibility to secure a sufficient deposit to cover our fees.
Deposits: We reserve the right to request a deposit for any work or specific disbursements.

Note on Originals: We only retain physical copies when legally required for court proceedings, such as original affidavits, relevant evidentiary documents, or liquid documents.
